Printable art quiz packs for teachers

Free "name that painting" worksheets with real images of public domain masterpieces, each with an answer key and a short fact for every painting. Print them, project them or send them home.

How to use them

  • Warm-up: project one painting at the start of class and ask what students notice before naming it.
  • Worksheet: print the pack; students write the title and artist under each image. The answer key is on the last page.
  • Extension: each answer links to a page explaining what is in the painting, why it is famous and how big it really is.

Every image is in the public domain, from museum open-access programs or Wikimedia Commons, so you can copy the worksheets freely for your class. Prefer to play online? Try the famous paintings quiz.
